Jim Weidner

Jim is responsible for distribution and relationship management on the west coast of the U.S. and Canada and is based in Southern California. He works closely with institutional investors that include public and corporate pensions, endowments, foundations, financial institutions, fund-of-funds and family offices. Jim has over two decades of experience in the private equity industry. Prior to founding Metric Point Capital, Jim was a Partner and member of the Management Committee at Atlantic-Pacific Capital where he worked for 14 years. Prior to that Jim was with Pacific Corporate Group (now Aksia TorreyCove Partners).  Jim received a BS in Business Administration from Chapman University and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

First Job: Paperboy for the San Clemente Sun Times. Paid an extra $5 a month for a hill route.
